The acrodermatitis enteropathica is rare in children, and there had been reported by Danbolt, and Closs (1942), and other authors.
We have found a case of acrodermatitis enteropathica arising in 2 and half months old female who developed typical skin lesion, alopecia, diarrhea, paronychia, growth retardation, and apathy.
Microbiological examination of the skin revealed candida albicans, and staphylococcal aureus.
The patient was improved after administration of diiodoquine. The review of literature was made briefly.
